Indika Foundation and PT Ganara Art: Let's Share Art to Build Critical Thinking Skills for Indonesian Youth
The Critical Thinking and Social Inclusion Program (hereinafter referred to as CTSI) through art education initiated by Let's Share the Arts (MBS) is a program intended for high school/vocational equivalent students throughout Indonesia. The main issue raised in this program is about critical thinking as the basis for understanding diversity. In 2018, the CTSI program run by MBS covers 9 regions throughout Indonesia.
Together with the Indika Foundation, Ganara Art can run programs in 4 regions in Indonesia, namely Ambon, Makassar, Central Maluku, and Yogyakarta. In this case, Ganara Art as a private party is actually supported by the Indika Foundation which is a foundation established by the Indika Energy Group.
The form of collaboration provided for the program is not only limited to funding, but also in terms of network sharing (where Indika Foundation has a strong positioning with other Indika Energy Group subsidiaries and partners that have been built, while Ganara Art has the network and data to the targeted schools), human capital and experience. Although initially this collaborative agreement only lasted until December 2018, but with the results that have been achieved, Indika Energy has again opened the opportunity to submit proposals to continue throughout 2019.
