The 1st Indonesia Social Investment Forum, Bali 12 December 2013
Indonesian Social Investment ( http://www.socialinvestmentindonesia.com/) and A+CSR ( http://www.csrindonesia.com/), consulting firms , organized the 1st Indonesia Social Investment Forum on December 12, 2013 in Bali. "Strategizing Social Investment, Sustaining Human Development” was the theme of the forum and attended by approximately 150 participants from companies, NGOs and educational institutions. The goal is to increase the company's investment in community/social work as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to improve the quality of human resources in achieving sustainable development goals post- 2015.
Kemal Soeriawidjaja, Executive Director of Company - Community Partnerships for Health in Indonesia (CCPHI) was one of the speakers in a break-out session on social investment in public health. Kemal presented the need to build partnerships between business and other sectors to improve public health.
