The 32nd HBRI Partnership Forum – Daya Training Program to Grow Businesses
CCPHI, in collaboration with Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional/BTPN, facilitated the 32nd HBRI Partnership Forum on Wednesday, 2 August 2016. This event was hosted by BTPN, featuring Daya Training Program to Grow Businesses – a partnership between BTPN and Business School Bogor Agriculture Institute (SB-IPB).
BTPN (www.btpn.com), founded in 1958, is a national commercial bank, BTPN initially focused on the pension business, serving as the pension payer for Indonesian civil servants and military personnel. Along the course its journey, BTPN later transformed into a commercial bank for mass-market customers, such as pensioners, micro/small & medium entrepreneurs, as well as productive, low-income communities. BTPN now provides services to almost 5 million customers with 4,000 branches spread across Indonesia. SB–IPB ( http://www.sb.ipb.ac.id/) is an education institution which offers comprehensive business school programs from undergraduate to doctoral. Their vision is to be a regional center of excellent in developing accountable leaders based on education applied process in resources and biology, research and spirit of entrepreneurship, as well as focused on global oriented sustainability.
This Partnership Forum was attended by 50 participants representing 14 companies, 14 NGOs, 1 association and 3 educational institutions. Fardila Astari, from Center for Public Policy Transformation (www.transformasi.org) facilitated the discussion following the presentation.
