CCPHI participated in 1st High Level Meeting of the Global Partnerships in Mexico City.
The Partnering Initiative invited CCPHI to a-two day workshop (13th and 14th April) on developing Platforms for Partnerships along with more than 30 selected individuals representing their organizations from around 15 countries, ahead of the 1st High Level Meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC), which takes place on the 15th and 16th of April in Mexico City.
Over 1,500 development leaders joined Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Secretary-General Angel Gurría in Mexico City. The leaders who came together in this high level meeting include heads of state and government, ministers, parliamentarians and leaders from international organizations, foundations, civil society and business leaders from big companies like Unilever and H&M. Armida Alisjahbana, Minister of National Development Planning Agency attended the meeting on behalf of government of Republic of Indonesia as one of the co-chairs.

The GPDEC is a forum for shared advice, shared learning and shared action to support the implementation of principles that form the foundation of effective development co-operation. To date, 161 Governments and 54 organizations have endorsed the Global Partnership Principles ( http://effectivecooperation.org/about/).
