How to Create Cross-Sectoral Partnerships to Realize the SDGs
Jakarta – Magazinecsr. The Executive Program for Sustainable Partnership (EPSP) enters batch 7. EPSP is an Executive Education Program which is the result of a collaboration between Paramadina University and CCPHI and is supported by the Ford Foundation. CCPHI is a non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates partnerships for healthy and sustainable communities.
In batch 7 this time, CSR.id Magazine had the opportunity to take part in the EPSP to learn more about initiatives to address the challenges of globalization that refer to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), inclusive business and inter-sectoral partnerships. EPSP is based on (platform) the principles of Good Governance, Shared Value and Sustainability.
The EPSP aims to form executives who are able to (1) build trust between sectors and increase knowledge and skills to achieve effective partnerships, (2) address the need for cross-sectoral partnerships in social, economic and cultural contexts and (3) develop, implement and evaluate sustainable partnerships through lessons-learned and evidence-based approaches.
This time the invited resource persons are experts who are competent in their fields. Consists of academics, practitioners and inspirational figures representing various sectors and issues including those representing the business, development and government sectors.
The EPSP was held at the Paramadina Graduate School (PGS) Campus, Tempo Building, Jl. West Palmera No. 8, West Jakarta and divided into several stages. Session 1: 5-8 March 2018, Session 2: 2-5 April 2018, Session 3 (Sensing): 6-30 April 2018, Session 4 and Graduation: 2 – 3 May 2018. The participants are diverse, consisting of executives from various sectors including the business, development and government sectors as well as international organizations.
