Partnership Forum #38: “Partnerships in Building Critical Thinking Skills for Indonesian Youths”
Partnership Forum #38 was held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 with the topic: “Partnerships in Building Critical Thinking Skills for Indonesian Youths”. Located at the Indika Foundation office, Partnership Forum #38 presented Ganara Art and Indika Foundation as resource persons, to discuss the Let's Share Art movement initiative, which is a partnership of the two institutions.
The Let's Share the Arts Movement provides artistic education that can shape critical thinking patterns for each individual, especially young people in Indonesia. Tita Djumaryo as a representative of Ganara Art explained that this program is intended for various schools in Indonesia with the main focus on schools that do not yet have art teachers. This time the Partnership Forum also discussed various collaborative programs owned by the Indika Foundation in order to build the future potential of Indonesian youth and at the same time realize sustainable programs, said Ayu Kartika Dewi, Managing Director of the Indika Foundation.
This time the Partnership Forum concluded that the sustainability of a program is determined by human resources (including the millennial generation) who are experts in their fields and their sustainability. In addition, collaboration with local governments is also considered very essential in determining the sustainability of a program initiated by an organization.
Partnership Forum #38 was attended by 44 participants consisting of the private sector, research institutions, and educational institutions. This discussion was guided by Rival Ahmad – Enabling Environment Senior Coordinator – Knowledge Sector Initiative.
