Policy Analyst Competencies for Better Policies
As a part of CCPHI collaboration with Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI) in efforts to develop the private sector engagement with the knowledge sector, Executive Director CCPHI Dian Rosdiana participated in KSI activity. Working with the State Administration Agency (Lembaga Administrasi Negara/LAN) and Association of Indonesian Policy Analysts (Asosiasi Analis Kebijakan Indonesia/AAKI), in a Knowledge Sharing meeting with topic of “Policy Analyst Competencies for Better Policies”. The event was held on 15-16 March 2018 in Makassar and attended by participants from Jakarta and Makassar including government, NGOs, universities, and donor agencies.
This support is one of the government's efforts to improve the public policy by improving the quality of public policy within the State Civil Apparatus (Aparatur Sipil Negara/ASN). This efforts to increase the capacity of stakeholders of Policy Analysts are done in collaboration with KSI and LAN c.q. Center for Policy Analyst Development (PUSAKA).
KSI together with LAN and AAKI had initiated the development for professional policy analysts the Indonesian Standards of Competencies for Policy Analyst (Standar Kompetensi Analis Kebijakan Indonesia/SKKNI) for the wider community including academics, non-governmental organizations, private and others, in order to provide a better atmosphere/environment of public policy which is beneficial to the public interest in Indonesia, including the the private sector.
