500 Philanthropic Foundations and Corporations Launched the Philanthropy and Business Platform to Support SDGs
The launching of the Indonesian Philanthropy and Business platform for the accelaration to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was held on Friday, 27 July 2018 at the APINDO Building, Permata Kuningan, Jakarta with the theme: "No one left behind: Partnership to Optimize Roles and Engagements of Indonesian Philanthropy and Business Sector in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals ".
CCPHI plays an active role in this activity by joining the Philanthropy and Business Forum to the achievement of SDGs for a better Indonesia or FBI4SDGs. This event is a joint event involving 14 associations, which in overall represent more than 500 philanthropic foundations and corporations.
In the effort to maximize its role and contribution, FBI4SDGs has established six working groups that focus on developing SDGs tools, sharing best practices on SDGs, deepening engagement, emerging and socialization, localizing SDGs, and policy advocacy. FBI4SDGs is actively involved in the government's efforts in preparing National Action Plans from the philanthropic and business sectors.
CCPHI together with Paramadina University held the 7th EPSP Graduation on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Postgraduate Campus, Paramadina University. Prof. Firmanzah PhD, Chancellor of Paramadina University gave a speech and opened the graduation ceremony. Prof. Firmanzah PhD conveyed the importance of collaboration and collaboration across sectors and EPSP graduates must be agents of change in collaborating. Erna Witoelar (Chairman of the Indonesian Philanthropy Steering Committee) was also present to provide guidance to the graduates at the graduation ceremony.
